Esmond Jenkins wins Judicial Review over gravel extraction permission

The High Court has ruled that Gloucestershire County Council failed to consult the local community in a gravel extraction scheme between Keynes Country Park and Shorncote.  Mr Justice Bean ruled that planning consent was unlawful because the County Council failed to consult properly with the Environment Agency and Shorncote residents before permitting sand and gravel extraction.  See Press Release:
