The Cotswold Water Park Society had these Objects:

"..to provide for the benefit of the public, in particular inhabitants of Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, facilities in the interests of social welfare for education, conservation, recreation and leisure time occupation at the Cotswold Water Park with the object of improving the conditions of life for those who have need of such facilities.."

Following the Public Meeting in March 2010, the Parish Councils of Somerford Keynes, Ashton Keynes and South Cerney called for wider public membership of the Cotswold Water Park Society, to promote greater transparency and accountability. The Society has become a subsiduary of the Cotswold Water Park Trust, and you can become a member of the Trust for £15 a year: http://www.waterpark.org/trust/join_us_2.html
